Skills Training and Empowerment Project
DELS Foundation implements a Skills Training and Empowerment Project, funded by our partner GlobalGiving, to promote economic independence among vulnerable girls and teen mothers.
Through this initiative, we have trained 100 teen mothers and 300 vulnerable girls in practical vocational skills including tie and dye, batik making, and beadwork. The project equips beneficiaries with income-generating skills that enhance self-reliance and long-term financial stability.
In addition to technical training, the program integrates counseling and mentorship, providing psychosocial support, guidance, and life coaching to help participants rebuild confidence, set goals, and transition successfully into sustainable livelihoods.
This project strengthens resilience, restores dignity, and creates pathways to economic empowerment.
